Ts & Cs

The contract entered into is between the owners of Hawley Farm and the person making the booking. The prices are in pounds sterling per cottage per week or short break, include, electricity, heating, one basket of logs, bed linen and towels (please bring your own beach towels).

All reasonable effort has been made to ensure that descriptions given to you in relation to a particular property are accurate. You acknowledge that minor differences may arise between photographs, descriptions and illustrations and actual property. If you have any specific requirements you are advised to confirm that requirement with the owner prior to booking.

Any payments can be made in the form of a Card, Bank transfer or cheque. A deposit of 20% needs to be paid to secure booking and that you have accepted the conditions, within 1 week.

Final Payment, once the booking is accepted, the balance of the cost is payable 4 weeks before the start of the holiday. If the balance is not received by the due date we reserve the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.

Cancellation by You. If you cancel the booking 1 month before your holiday then the deposit is forfeited (non-returnable deposit). If you cancel two weeks or less before your holiday you will have to pay the full amount of the holiday. Any other cancelled holidays we will charge a £50 admin fee. Please inform us as soon as possible. We recommend that holiday insurance is taken out.

Cancellation by us if for any reason we have to cancel your booking due to any circumstances beyond our control (force majeure) or for whatever reason, we will refund the full amount you have paid, but will not be liable for any other expenses and costs whatsoever. If you request us to do so we will make every reasonable effort to find alternative accommodation of similar nature and price.

Arrival and Departure. The accommodation is available from 4.00pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 9.30.am on the day of departure. We will try to be as flexible as we can, this time is required to clean and service the accommodation.

Liability. The farm buildings are out of bounds for your safety, (this is a working farm) please stick to the farm footpaths and take responsibility for your own safety. The supervision of children, babies, dogs and any adult requiring care remains your responsibility at all times. No liability is accepted by the owners for any personal injury or death to guests, or for loss or damage to their property.

If you leave items behind I will post if requested but you would have the postage to pay for.

Please do not cause nuisance or annoyance to others in nearby properties.

No smoking in the cottages. No candles, Fireworks or Chinese Lanterns as they are fire hazards and will frighten animals.

Please use the free wifi in a lawful and reasonable way.

Only well behaved dogs, max two, allowed in the Stables, Wagon House and Cider Press, there will be an extra cost charged for each @£30. Dogs are not to be left unattended. Dogs are not allowed on beds or the furniture and must be on a lead when walking the fields. You must also pick up after your dog. Please bring dog beds and towels to dry and clean your dogs.

Complaints and Concerns, the owners should be made aware of any complaints or concerns as soon as is reasonably possible to give us a chance to rectify the situation. This is best done in person, if not possible an email or phone call please. We cannot accept complaints notified after departure.

Damage. You are responsible for the cost of any damage or breakages and for leaving the property in a clean and tidy condition. We reserve the right to levy a cleaning charge should the condition of the property make it necessary.

No rebates will be given for mechanical failure of any kind and every effort will be made to effect repair.

The owners require reasonable access to the property if it is deemed necessary, and in an emergency this may be without notice.

Please let us know of any breakages before you leave.

If you lose the key there is a charge of £10

Maximum occupancy The Cider press, 6 people, the Wagon house, 4 people. The Stables 7 people. Plus cots for infants and babies.

Car Parking there is space for 1 car by each cottage, any extra cars can park in our carpark to the right of the concrete track.

Please let us know if you are going to expect extra family or friends for the day other than those staying with you in the accommodation. We need to know who is on site for fire regs ect. Parties are not allowed and any guests not behaving in a reasonable way will be asked to leave and no discount will be given.

EV Policy. Do not charge your car via sockets in the holiday lets (this is against our health, safety and insurance policy). We have an EV charger near our garage. Please let us know if you require to charge your car and we will inform you how to proceed and the cost per unit that we will charge you. If anyone is not sticking to these terms and conditions will be asked to leave and no discount will be given.
